I don’t know how many people read my blog, but don’t see my facebook, but I thought I’d give everyone an update on my life. The last two weeks have been incredibly hectic, confusing, and wonderful, all spun into one. While I didn’t get into graduate school (which is an amusing, unbelievable story I’d love to tell anyone if they’d like to hear), I accepted a job at MOCSA (where I have my internship) for the position of Education and Outreach Specialist, where I’ll be earning full-time + benefits (which is a big deal for a chronic part-timer worker, full time student for me). It means I, for the first time since I was 5, will not be in school, doing mindless bullshit busy work, and instead will be working, and doing something I love!

Anyway, I know it’s a short update, but I’m busy trying to finish up school work so I can end this semester ASAP. I am so ready to be done. I am burned out hardcore, and could use the break.

I cannot tell you how awesome this is! And I don’t remember if I told you on FB, but YES we can hang out all of the time! And hey, if MOCSA needs any LMSWs, we could even carpool!

grad school programs are infuriatingly arbitrary in how they pick students, in my experience. i really can not figure them out.

YAY FOR YOU HAVING AN AWESOME JOB WITH BENEFITS!!!! (i assume and hope that this means no COBRA?)

Actually, that’s what we’re finding out, which might be terrifying. We’ll see what this means, because my work insurance may not cover what I need. Which is problematic, because COBRA won’t allow me to opt out and stay with them (even though they’re way expensive, they’ll cover what I need). So, we’ll see how this goes.

i looked you up because i was thinking of you and wondering how you were doing. it’s been a while since you updated this and i’m not sure if you still check it, but if you do, i wanted to say hello and i hope you’re well.

I do still check it. It has been a while, because with my full-time job and graduating (3 weeks!) I’ve been hella busy. I’m doing well, Frank. What about you? I haven’t heard a thing about what you’ve been doing, and I want to hear everything.
