i hate hate HATE having my life planned out like this. i really have no sense of freedom, which is driving me nuts. i’d really like to be able to volunteer more, for example at the WTCS (Woman’s Transitional Care Services) , but they have a 40 hour training program. UH, where exactly do i have time for that? exactly, i don’t. but we’ll see. i have a mandatory volunteer requirement of 20+ hours for my SW 220 class (social work, social welfare, and us society), so finding time enough for that is a challenge (note the 6 am volunteer time!). eeeeeek, i’m going to lose my mind.

i just want to do so well in this major, and i’m frustrated and already exhausted. i just don’t want to burn out before i even begin. well, it’s 1:00 am, and it’s time for bed, as i have to be up in eight hours to work out. yuck.

again, on a completely unrelated note:

i love love love this song.

Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots – The Flaming Lips

ps: this is my 50th post!

Darling… I feel you so much, it hurts.

    Luckily, we’re almost done.

Or unluckily. A year to two years isn’t very long to prepare for the real world.

“When and where does this ‘real world’ actually exist?!”

well technically i have three years left. two years in the undergrad social work program and one in the masters program. but in three years, i’ll have a masters! woo!
